Effective Date: July 9, 2026

At Ease Parent is a family readiness platform that helps parents, guardians, nannies, caregivers, co-parents, grandparents, sitters, and helpers organize routines, reminders, handoffs, schedules, pickup plans, and care details in one shared system, built around this promise: You don't have to hold it all alone.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using At Ease Parent, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and any additional policies or guidelines we provide. If you do not agree, do not use At Ease Parent.

If you are using At Ease Parent on behalf of a household, family, employer, or care arrangement, you confirm that you have authority to enter and manage information for that household or care relationship.

2. Who May Use At Ease Parent

At Ease Parent is intended for adults, including parents, legal guardians, nannies, caregivers, co-parents, grandparents, babysitters, household managers, family assistants, backup pickup adults, and other trusted helpers.

Children should not create their own At Ease Parent accounts unless specifically permitted by applicable law and approved by a parent or legal guardian.

Parents, guardians, or authorized caregivers may enter child-related information into At Ease Parent to coordinate family care.

3. What At Ease Parent Provides

At Ease Parent provides family readiness tools, including shared family plans, child care details, routines, reminders, weekly family resets, caregiver handoffs, pickup and drop-off details, household communication support, nanny and caregiver coordination tools, and seasonal family readiness systems.

At Ease Parent is not a medical service, emergency service, childcare provider, legal advisor, school, transportation provider, or substitute for professional judgment.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information
  • Keeping account credentials secure
  • Inviting only trusted adults into a family plan
  • Assigning appropriate permissions
  • Reviewing shared information regularly
  • Removing access when someone no longer supports the family
  • Using the app lawfully and respectfully
  • Verifying important care, pickup, emergency, allergy, medication, or health-related information outside the app when necessary

You agree not to use At Ease Parent to harass, monitor, control, impersonate, threaten, or exploit another person.

5. Household Admin Responsibilities

A parent, guardian, or household admin may create and manage a shared family plan. Household admins are responsible for:

  • Adding children and household details
  • Inviting caregivers and helpers
  • Assigning roles and permissions
  • Managing access to child-related information
  • Reviewing who can see, edit, or submit information
  • Removing people who should no longer have access
  • Requesting deletion of household or child-related data when appropriate

At Ease Parent provides tools for shared support, but the household admin is responsible for deciding who should have access to the family plan.

6. Caregiver and Nanny Responsibilities

Caregivers, nannies, sitters, grandparents, co-parents, and helpers agree to:

  • Use family information only to support the care relationship
  • Respect family privacy
  • Access only the information they are authorized to view
  • Submit truthful and appropriate handoffs or care notes
  • Avoid sharing household or child-related information outside the app unless authorized
  • Stop accessing a household if the care relationship ends or access is removed

At Ease Parent is designed to support caregiver clarity and trust. It should not be used to misrepresent experience, credentials, availability, or care actions.

7. User Content

Users may enter or upload information such as child profiles, schedules, routines, care notes, handoff notes, pickup details, emergency contacts, food preferences, allergy or sensitivity notes, household instructions, activity details, and attachments or images, if enabled.

You retain ownership of the content you provide. By entering content into At Ease Parent, you grant At Ease Parent permission to store, process, display, transmit, and use that content as needed to provide the app and related services.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to share any information you add to the app.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use At Ease Parent to:

  • Violate any law or regulation

At Ease Parent reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Medical, Allergy, Medication, and Emergency Disclaimer

At Ease Parent may allow users to store allergy notes, sensitivity notes, medication reminders, emergency contacts, or other care-related information. This information is provided by users and is optional.

At Ease Parent does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency response, professional healthcare guidance, medication administration guidance, childcare licensing services, transportation verification, or legal advice.

Users should not rely on At Ease Parent as the only source for emergency, medical, allergy, medication, or pickup authorization information. In an emergency, contact emergency services or the appropriate medical professional.

10. No Guarantee of Outcomes

At Ease Parent is designed to support family coordination, shared clarity, and caregiver communication. We do not guarantee that a reminder will prevent a missed task, a handoff will be read immediately, a pickup plan will be followed, emergency information will always be available, a caregiver will perform any specific task, family conflicts or miscommunications will be avoided, or the app will be available without interruption.

Users remain responsible for confirming critical care, safety, medical, pickup, and emergency details.

11. Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your login information secure. You should notify At Ease Parent immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

At Ease Parent may suspend access if we detect suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or misuse.

12. App Availability and Changes

At Ease Parent may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these terms as the app evolves.

If we make material changes, we may notify users by email, in-app notice, or by updating the "Last Updated" date.

13. Subscriptions and Paid Features

If At Ease Parent later offers subscriptions, digital products, physical products, or paid features, separate payment, subscription, cancellation, refund, and store terms may apply. Those terms should be added before paid features or store functionality launch.

14. Termination

You may stop using At Ease Parent at any time. At Ease Parent may suspend or terminate access if a user violates these terms, misuses the app, creates security risk, or uses the platform in a way that harms other users, children, caregivers, families, or At Ease Parent.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, At Ease Parent LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.

At Ease Parent is not responsible for decisions, omissions, actions, or inactions of parents, caregivers, nannies, co-parents, sitters, helpers, schools, transportation providers, healthcare providers, or emergency services.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the courts or dispute resolution process located in Indiana, unless otherwise required by law.
