At Ease Parent is built to support shared family care. This Acceptable Use Policy explains how users may and may not use the app, website, emails, digital tools, and related services — to protect families, children, caregivers, household information, and the trust of the At Ease Parent community.
1. Core Use Standard
At Ease Parent should be used for shared family planning, care coordination, routines, reminders, caregiver handoffs, pickup and drop-off details, household logistics, nanny and caregiver communication, seasonal readiness, and family support.
Use At Ease Parent to support care, not to control, pressure, or exploit another person.
2. Acceptable Uses
Users may use At Ease Parent to:
- Create a shared family plan
- Add children and care details
- Invite trusted adults
- Assign caregiver permissions
- Create routines and set reminders
- Send handoffs
- Share pickup or activity details
- Organize school-year or seasonal information
- Track family supplies
- Coordinate shared household logistics
- Communicate care updates respectfully
- Support a child's daily routines with clarity
3. Prohibited Uses
Users may not use At Ease Parent to:
- Violate any law, regulation, court order, custody order, or school policy
- Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or abuse another person
- Use the app for surveillance, coercion, or control
- Access a household without permission or attempt to bypass permissions
- Enter false care, pickup, medical, or emergency information
- Misrepresent identity, caregiver credentials, role, or authority
- Share another person's private information without authorization
- Upload harmful, illegal, abusive, exploitative, discriminatory, or threatening content
- Upload content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors
- Interfere with custody, visitation, school, childcare, or legal arrangements
- Use caregiver information for unauthorized marketing or solicitation
- Scrape, export, copy, or misuse family information
- Reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, or interfere with app functionality
- Introduce malware, spam, phishing, or harmful code
- Use the app for unapproved commercial purposes
- Use child-related information for advertising, profiling, or unrelated business purposes
4. Caregiver-Specific Use Standards
Nannies, caregivers, sitters, grandparents, co-parents, household managers, and helpers may only use family information to support the care relationship they are authorized to participate in. Caregivers may not share household or child-related information outside the app without permission, retain family information after the care relationship ends unless legally permitted and authorized, use family information for unrelated business purposes, misrepresent handoff notes, care actions, availability, or credentials, access information for a household they no longer support, or use At Ease Parent to pressure, monitor, or retaliate against a parent or family.
5. Parent and Household Admin Use Standards
Parents, guardians, and household admins may not invite someone without proper authority, use the app to harass, monitor, threaten, or control a co-parent, caregiver, or helper, add false information about another adult, share sensitive child or caregiver information with unnecessary parties, use At Ease Parent to replace legal, school, medical, or emergency documentation, or use the app to create misleading pickup or custody instructions.
Parents and household admins are responsible for reviewing invited users and removing access when a person no longer needs it.
6. Content Moderation and Enforcement
At Ease Parent may review, remove, restrict, or disable access to content or accounts if we believe there is a violation of this policy, the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, law, or user safety. Possible actions include warning the user, removing content, restricting certain features, removing household access, suspending or terminating an account, preserving records for legal or safety reasons, and reporting to legal authorities if required or appropriate.
At Ease Parent is not required to monitor all user content but may act when misuse is reported or detected.
7. Reporting Misuse
Users may report misuse, unauthorized access, harassment, incorrect family information, or safety concerns by contacting hello@ateaseparent.com.
Recommended categories: unauthorized household access, incorrect pickup or emergency information, harassment or threats, misuse of child-related information, caregiver impersonation, co-parent access concern, suspicious account activity, or other safety concern.
8. Summary
At Ease Parent exists to make care easier to share. The app should help parents feel less alone, caregivers know how to help, and families move with more clarity. Any use that undermines trust, safety, dignity, privacy, or shared support is not acceptable.
