Effective Date: July 9, 2026
At Ease Parent understands that child-related and family care information is sensitive. This policy explains how child-related information may be entered, used, shared, and deleted inside At Ease Parent.
1. Adult-Directed Use
At Ease Parent is intended for adults coordinating care. Children should not create their own accounts unless specifically permitted by law and approved by a parent or legal guardian.
Parents, guardians, or authorized caregivers may enter child-related information into the app to help coordinate care.
2. Types of Child-Related Information
Users may enter child-related information such as:
- Name, age or grade, school, teacher, classroom, schedule
- Pickup and drop-off details, authorized pickup adults
- Food preferences, allergy or sensitivity notes
- Routine notes, clothing or uniform notes, homework notes
- Activity schedule, comfort notes, caregiver instructions
- Emergency contacts, handoff history, supplies running low
- Shared household notes
3. How Child-Related Information Is Used
Child-related information is used to create shared family plans, help caregivers understand routines, coordinate pickup and drop-off, support daily care, create reminders, complete handoffs, support weekly family resets, help parents and caregivers stay aligned, and make important care details easier to access by authorized adults.
At Ease Parent does not use child-related information for behavioral advertising, and does not sell child-related information.
4. Who Can Access Child-Related Information
Child-related information may be accessed by parents or legal guardians, household admins, co-parents, nannies, caregivers, grandparents, babysitters, backup pickup adults, and other helpers invited by a parent, guardian, or household admin.
Access depends on permissions set by the household admin. At Ease Parent uses role-based access so each helper can see only what they need to support the child.
5. Parent and Guardian Control
Parents and guardians can add child-related information, edit it, invite caregivers, assign permissions, remove access, request deletion, and review who has access to the child's care details.
You control who can see your child's care details. Share only what each helper needs to know.
6. Caregiver Use of Child-Related Information
Caregivers may only use child-related information to support the family and child they are authorized to help. Caregivers should not copy child-related information for unrelated use, share it outside the care relationship, use it for marketing, retain family information after access ends unless legally permitted and authorized, or access information for a household they no longer support.
7. Allergy, Health, Medication, and Emergency Notes
Child-related health, allergy, medication, sensitivity, or emergency notes are optional and user-provided. At Ease Parent does not verify this information and does not provide medical guidance.
These notes are provided by the family for care coordination only. At Ease Parent does not provide medical advice or emergency services. In an emergency, contact emergency services or a medical professional.
8. No Behavioral Advertising Using Child Data
At Ease Parent does not use child-related information for behavioral advertising, retargeting, or ad personalization. If advertising or tracking tools are added later, this policy, the Privacy Policy, and applicable app store disclosures will be reviewed and updated before launch.
9. Child Data Deletion Requests
Parents or legal guardians may request access, correction, or deletion of child-related information through in-app household controls, the account deletion flow, or by emailing hello@ateaseparent.com.
At Ease Parent may verify the requester's authority before completing the request.
