What Cora Is
Cora is At Ease Parent's AI planning coach. She helps you generate readiness plans, packing lists, and shift summaries — and can suggest restock actions. Cora is designed to reduce cognitive load, not replace your judgment.
Consent-First Design
Cora never takes action without your knowledge. All suggestions must be reviewed and confirmed by a Parent Admin before anything changes in your household data. You are always in control.
Approval Requirements
Any action involving purchases, inventory updates, or caregiver notifications requires explicit approval from a Parent Admin. Cora will present the proposed action and wait for your confirmation before proceeding.
Auto-Purchase Policy (Premium)
Premium households may optionally enable auto-purchase for routine restock orders under a set threshold (default: $50). This requires:
1. Explicit opt-in by the Parent Admin
2. A connected payment method and approved retailer
3. An audit log of all auto-purchases (viewable in Settings)
Auto-purchase can be disabled at any time in Settings → AI & Cora.
Audit Logs
All actions taken by or suggested by Cora are logged. You can view the full Cora action log in Settings → AI & Cora → View Log. Logs are retained for 90 days.
Kill Switch
You can disable Cora's active suggestions at any time. Go to Settings → AI & Cora → Disable Cora. This puts Cora into "read-only" mode — she can still answer questions but will not proactively suggest actions.
Data Used by Cora
Cora uses your household's plan history, location readiness, supply status, and shift logs to generate suggestions. Cora does not access your device contacts, camera, or location without explicit permission per action.
